The Lion’s head is proud and true
So proud and true it talks to you
Now bow your head and eyes and you
And maybe someday you’ll be proud and true.

How can you get very far,
If you don’t know who you are?
How can you do what you ought,
If you don’t know what you’ve got?
And if you don’t know which to do
Of all the things in front of you,
Then what you’ll have when you are through
Is just a mess without a clue
Of all the best that can come true
If you know What and Which and Who.

Scientists have recently discovered a rare, solitary type of bee that makes tiny little nests by plastering together flower petals. Each nest is a multicolored, textured little cocoon - a papier-mache husk surrounding a single egg, and protecting it while it metamorphoses into an adult.

You Crazy Diamond…

kariann0215:

When a piece of wood doesn’t burn, crush it down, and it will light. So too with the body and soul.  When our hearts get broken or our chips knocked off our shoulders, it’s only so that our souls can shine.

Or put another way, the pressures of life are turning us from coal into diamonds.

Shine on you crazy diamond.

-Yehuda Berg
